Week 4 Recap- The Season is Halfway Done

Good Morning Everyone!

This weekend was an awesome weekend for football. For the first time, the weather made us feel that it was actually the Fall Season. As the season heads into mid-October, it may be time to start wearing your long sleeve shirts. It will get chilly outside, especially at the morning games. Our players continue to fight no matter what, and our cheerleaders provide that great boost to keep the spirit and energy high on the field.  Our 100 Pound dominated South County and our 115 Pound pulled out a win against Dulles South to provide 2 wins for our program. Our Anklebiters lost a shootout to Alexandria and out 80 pound lost a tought one to Reston. Each year, we would like our program to win 70% of their games they participate in. After 4 weeks, our program record is 6-10. This puts our percentage as a program at 38% but the season is still not over. Here are a few notes...

*Thank you for everyone who participated in the Krispy Kreme Fundraiser. The pick up date is set for Wednesday in the Cafeteria!!!

*This Saturday, our program will be selling more T-shirts for parents who would like to purchase some fan gear. They will be on sale for $20-$22 based on size. We have a limited amount so make sure you get one before it sells out!!!

*I want to extend a huge shout out to our Thumbs Up program which helps our program with fundraising, but they do more than that. These ladies do an amazing job providing our kids with small gifts and snacks to keep our kids excited and rewarding them for their hard work!!!!

*Basketball interest registration is now open. Please visit us online and sign up. You don't want to miss out!!!
